London Heathrow Airport is located 1.5-1.7 miles from Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Room Prices
Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport rooms are very reasonably priced whether you pay with points or cash (see images below). I used points to make an easier cancellation in case my plans change, but I you are not able to book their biggest room with points. Most rooms are 23 square meters and only the Deluxe King Bed rooms are 27 square meters and located on the top floor (see images below).

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Globalist Recognition
There is a Globalist recognition, but the front desk staff is not trained regarding benefits. The agent at the check-in was trying to sell me breakfast and sounded surprised when I mentioned that breakfast is free for Globalists. I was not able to get a free upgrade to a King Bed Deluxe room even after talking to a manager (despite available rooms). He kept on saying “there are no suites here and all our rooms look the same” and I did not want to argue for a single night stay.
Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Wi-Fi Speed
I was pleasantly surprised to see robust Wi-Fi speeds at the Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Standard Room
While walking down the corridor, all the rooms have the same basic airport hotel look, but once you enter the room we appreciated the design. Our twin bedroom is small with comfortable mattresses, a computer desk/chair, and a closet with a single folded luggage rack (which is the smallest I have ever seen). There is a separate area that holds a coffee maker, a small refrigerator and extra towels. Bathroom has an angled sink and a narrow bathtub with an adjustable shower head.
Thermostat allowed us to lower the room temperature to 18 degrees C despite it being the winter month here in London (Nov 18th).

Coffee to Cocktail Bar

The Coffee to Cocktail Bar offers all-day dining with plenty of seating in the lobby. The place offers an extensive menu including sharing platters, pizzas, burgers, salads, pies, and desserts. After checking in, we sat there for a while and ordered a pepperoni pizza with soft drinks.
Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Globalist Breakfast
Hyatt Place offers both a menu-based hot breakfast (any style eggs) along with a continental breakfast (cereals, breads and an assortment of fruits). The breakfast was tasty and the customer service was phenomenal.

Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport Parking Fees
Hyatt Place charges the following fees for parking your car (see image below).

Shuttle Bus Service to Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport
Hotel has a paid shuttle bus service (“hotelhoppa”) that stops at several hotels before reaching the respective terminal. The bus service is NOT complimentary and there is a fee that varies based on the terminal of LHR airport. Shuttle bus operates at fixed times (see the schedule below) and we noticed it to be very prompt.

How much does it cost to take the hotelhoppa from the Hyatt Place to terminal 3 of Heathrow?
We paid close to 14 pounds (for two travelers) to travel to terminal 3 from the Hyatt Place (see image below).

How much does it cost to take an Uber from the Hyatt Place to terminal 3 Heathrow?
While we paid 27 British Pounds to Uber for coming from terminal 5 to the Hyatt Place, the reverse journey to terminal 3 is a bit cheaper, between 16-20 pounds (see image below). It is much more comfortable and quicker to simply take an Uber if at least two people are traveling.

Notable positive aspects of Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport
- Affordable prices (points or cash)
- Very close to the airport
- Large seating area in the lobby
- Fast Wi-Fi speeds
- Wonderful customer service
- Excellent unrestricted Globalist breakfast (eggs can be ordered any style from a menu).
- Very good lunch and dinner.
Notable negative aspects of Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport
The biggest negative point I noticed at this hotel is the horribly designed bathtub that makes taking a shower very unpleasant. I have a moderate build (5″10 inches tall and 180 pounds) and still struggled to turn around to lather while taking a shower in this bathtub. After taking two showers here, I started liking the Norwegian cube-like shower designs.
Conclusion
Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport has small rooms, large seating areas and very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is not my favorite Hyatt airport hotel, but it is one of the lowest priced and offers good value. One should account for the transportation fees (shuttle bus or Uber) involved when staying at this hotel.
