Park Hyatt Zurich is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Zurich close to the Bahnhofstrasse shopping street and Lake Zurich. The cash prices for a standard room are $600-800 USD per night and the hotel has an underground self-parking lot (CHF 45.00 for overnight parking). I used 25K points to book a night in the Park Hyatt Zurich (category 7).
Park Hyatt Zurich Lobby & Check-in
This is one of the best Park Hyatt’s we have ever visited with a magnificent lobby and several high-end shopping galleries. The check-in process was very fast and after recognizing the Globalist status, they upgraded us to a Park Junior Suite and provided a free parking pass along with welcome drink coupons. The club lounge was not operational during the time of our visit.
Park Junior Suite
The Park Junior Suite had an exclusive sitting/living area and floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom had Carrara marble finishes, a bathtub, and a separate walk-in rain shower. The King mattress was very comfortable and there was a lot of closet space. We went for a walk in the evening to lake Zurich and had dinner in one of the local restaurants.
Breakfast
The full-service breakfast was phenomenal with wonderful service. We had scrambled eggs, toasted bread, and mixed fruits along with cappuccino and hot tea.
Gym & Other Facilities
Park Hyatt Zurich has a health club with a gym, steam bath, sauna, and treatment rooms. We did not have much time to visit them during our one-night stay. Soon after breakfast we checked out and started driving to Grindelwald.
Summary
Park Hyatt Zurich is one of the most luxurious 5-star hotels in Zurich, which has marvelous architecture (elegant, glass-fronted exterior) and offers spacious accommodations. The hotel is easy to book with Hyatt points and Globalist benefits help you get free parking and breakfast. We will be returning to stay here during my next trip to Switzerland.
