I have three active subscriptions for award booking tools (seats.aero.com, pointsyeah.com and awardtool.com), which all started with award flight bookings and now all of them have also started to add hotel booking services.
Rooms.aero Hotel Search
It is fairly easy to look up the hotel on the rooms.aero webpage and you can request to add a hotel if it is not listed on the website (see image below). You don’t need to pay for any subscription or log-in to utilize this hotel search feature.
The top searches are revealed on the front page and can be clicked directly to access the results (see image below).

I clicked on Secret Bahia Real Resort and the website tool let me choose the number of nights I am planning to stay (see image below).

Hotel room availability alerts can be created for specific dates without any subscription.
Bilt Transfer Partner Hyatt Award Availability Tool
Bilt offers a nice award Hyatt hotel search function (powered by Awayz), which is another free option to get a calendar view of award availability. To access this feature, you must create a free Bilt account and then go to the transfer partners page (see image below). You SHOULD NOT click on the “Book” option next to the “Transfer” tab, which will take you to cash prices. You don’t have to have any Bilt points to utilize this search feature.

Once you enter the destination name and desired dates of travel, click on “Search” and another tab will open up with “Awayz Bilt” name.

The results will show all of the available Hyatt & Marriott hotels and you can click on the image of the hotel to expand the award availability calendar.

Simply scroll down to see the available award space for the entire year (see image below).
PointsYeah Hotel Search
PointsYeah region based hotel search (Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Marriott) works very well and it also includes Mr & Mrs Smith and Amex FHR properties.
AwardTool Hotel Search
AwardTool shows region-based hotel searches (Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Marriott) that can be viewed in a calendar format by clicking on the calendar icon next to the results (see images below).

With a seats.aero free account, you can set up unlimited alerts to get notified when the award space opens up.
