We stayed one night at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport before taking a Jet Blue flight to Cancun.
Award Booking Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel
I used one of my CAT 1-4 certificates to reserve a King bed Accessible with Shower. The typical cash price for this room is around $250.
Driving to the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel
Google & Apple maps are both inaccurate with driving directions and announced “you have arrived” in the middle of the Jeff Fuqua Blvd expressway. We had to take a few turns around and finally found the signs for Hyatt Hotel & Valet parking signs off the terminal A exit (see images below).
Valet Parking Fees
Valet parking costs $35USD per night and cars can be left with them for the duration of your trip. Self parking prices at MCO airport are priced around $24USD per night and we chose to leave our car at the hotel for 5 nights during our trip to Mexico (one night will be free for being Globalist).
Check-in & Room Upgrades
Check-in counter agent recognized my Globalist status and went over the amenities and breakfast hours. He upgraded our room to a King bed with Balcony, but a suite upgrade was NOT offered. I read from reports that this place is very stingy with globalist suite upgrades and did not pursue the matter further.

Fitness Center
The hotel has a good fitness center with a mix of free weights, treadmills, ellipticals along with some resistance workout equipment.
Breakfast (McCoy’s)
McCoy’s has a full buffet breakfast (7-11AM) and menu-based ordering is also available with a good selection. Globalists can choose either the buffet (with freshly made eggs), or a single item from the menu with free hot drinks like coffee, tea or cappuccino.
We enjoyed breakfast & desserts at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and it was much better than my other frequently visited CAT 4 property, the Hyatt Regency JFK airport (review) where there is no option to order via menu.
Complimentary Overnight Room Service (12AM-7AM)
The hotel offers room service from an overnight menu (complimentary to Globalists) for passengers with early flights. I overheard the McCoy’s staff mentioning a $110 cap per room for this service for Globalists (not 100% sure). Guests can pre-order breakfast the night before and specify the time they want it delivered to their room.
Notable Negative Points with Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel
- Slow and small elevators (we have seen several people struggling to get in with large luggage) with congestion at peak hours.
- Low water pressure in the room we stayed in on the top floor (1011).
- Poor WiFi connection on the top floor (MCO airport WiFi was faster than the Hyatt).
Conclusion
Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Hotel is a wonderful way to spend the night before catching international or early morning flights. It is also a great place to valet park your vehicle for a reasonable price and simply walk to terminals A&B for security screening. However, terminal C departures (e.g., JetBlue to Cancun) require a short train ride.
