Lençois Maranhenses National Park (covering over 300,000 acres) is located on the northeastern coast of Brazil and is filled with white dunes and blue lagoons. The rainfall occurs between January and June and the best time to visit the park is from May to September. São Luís (SLZ) airport is located within a 4-hour driving distance to the national park.
