My primary goal in earning the Bilt Platinum status is to unlock the Platinum-level Rent Day transfer bonuses. Now that I have Bilt Platinum status (through January 16, 2028), I also have excess Bilt Cash that won’t roll over to next year (beyond $100).

I am not sure if I will ever use this benefit, but I activated it in the Bilt App. To my surprise, Bilt didn’t ask for my Flying Blue member number, but I received the confirmation email quickly and showed up in the Flying Blue activity page (see images below).

How I used my 2026 Bilt Platinum credits?
I booked a Blacklane ride from JFK to Manhattan and two Blade helicopter rides from Manhattan to JFK (see images below).
I still have a complimentary BLADE flight I can take next year between Manhattan and JFK or Newark.
Conclusion
We are excited to try the BLADE helicopter ride for the first time and beat NYC traffic in at least one direction. Since BLADE requires soft-sided bags and explicitly prohibits hard-shell suitcases, we started looking for the ideal carry-ons that match the dimensions and weight requirements.
